ECTC Celebrates SkillsUSA State Medalists
The IT, Cybersecurity, Electrical, and Plumbing & Pipefitting programs at ECTC took 14 students to the state SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference and SkillsUSA Championships to compete. Medalists include: Silver in Information Technology - Logan Pekala (Holtville) Silver in Cybersecurity - Josiah Santiago & Scott Edge (Wetumpka) Bronze in Plumbing & Pipefitting - Dallas Rawlinson (Stanhope Elmore)

Be Pro, Be Proud Visits ECTC
The Be Pro, Be Proud mobile workshop from ALSDE visited the Elmore County Technical Center campus April 30 and May 1 showcasing in-demand, technical careers across the state with hands-on virtual trainers that students could use. More than 400 students on campus were able to tour the unit during it’s stop. Pictured is senior Welding student, London Goodson, demonstrating how to use the excavator simulator.
