The 2025-2026 school year has ended, and 883 graduates received diplomas signaling the end of their K-12 academic careers. I am incredibly proud of the accomplishments of these students!
The Elmore County High School senior class of 110 students earned over $1.2 million in scholarships. Seven graduates will enter military service, 54 students are college-bound, and 5 will attend technical school. Addison Hicks received the Joe Sewell Girl’s Athletic Award. The Valedictorian was Jenna Roberston, and the Salutatorian was Addison Hicks.
The Holtville High School senior class of 120 students earned approximately $4.3 million in scholarships. Six graduates will enter military service, 48 students will attend a 2- or 4- year college, and 5 will attend technical school. Joe Sewell Award recipients were Tyler Hackett, Boy’s Overall Winner, Lacy Strength, Girls’ Church, Community, & Character Award, and Kylie Snowden, Girl’s Academic Award. The Valedictorian was Tyler Hackett, and the Salutatorian was Kylie Snowden.
Stanhope Elmore High School’s senior class of 232 students earned over $3 million in scholarships. Fourteen graduates will enter military service, and 200 students will pursue post-secondary education. Margo Cupps received the Joe Sewell Girl’s Leadership Award. Co-Valedictorians were Kendra Williams and Sarah Grace Nickerson, and the Salutatorian was Madeline Espy.
The 287 students in Wetumpka High School’s senior class have earned over $6.3 million in scholarships. Twenty-two students will enter military service, and 195 students will attend college or technical school. Joe Sewell Award recipients were Ashlynn Turner, Girl’s Overall Winner, and Walter Myrick, Boy’s Leadership Winner. Christina Spruill and Georgia Wyatt earned perfect ACT scores, Georgia Wyatt was a National Merit Scholar Finalist, and Alexxandra Parrott was named CTE Student of the Year. Valedictorians were Finley Davisson, Nathan Dinh, Christina Fulmer, and Georgia Wyatt. The Salutatorian was Mason Hilburgh.

The EDGE, Elmore County’s virtual school, graduated 134 seniors. Seventeen students will enter military service, 66 will attend college, and 50 will enter the workforce. The Valedictorian was Jake Roush, and the Salutatorian was Sydney Biernesser.
Our students have taken advantage of a wide variety of course offerings and are well prepared to enter college or the workforce. They have collectively earned scholarship offers totaling over $14.8 million! Congratulations to our graduates, and we wish you well in your new endeavors!
